Author Guidelines

Each typescript should include:

• the author's name, title and an abstract (its length is at least 1800 symbols written in English (20 lines)), preferably containing no formulae and certainly no complicated formulae and no references
• a 2020 Mathematics Subject Classification;
• if the title is long, a shortened form of it, no more than 40 characters in length;
• the address of the author(s) for publication in the journal;
• keywords;

The arrangement of theorems, lemmas, propositions, corollaries and definitions, which are to be numerated, in papers written in English should be carried out in the following way:

In the case, when the paper is written in Ukrainian, the theorems, lemmas, propositions, corollaries and definitions, which are to be numerated, should be arranged in the following way:

If there is no numeration, use
theorem*, lemma*, proposition*, corollary*, definition*
everywhere instead of
theorem, lemma, proposition, corollary, definition
respectively.
The arrangement of ordered lists should be carried out using the environment itemize, for example:

\end{itemize}.
In order to organize complicated formulae and relations, which occupy more than one line, use the environment gather, for instance:

\end{gather} The above example reflects the formula, which occupies three lines. Besides, line 1 and line 3 are not numerated, and line 2 is numerated automatically.

If the author wants to arrange a formula, which is not numerated, he or she is supposed to use the environment gather* :

The references items should be arranged in one of the following ways:

I.

Each reference item must be followed by its English translation, e.g.

In case, when the paper has to contain pictures, they are to be created in bmp-format.
If possible, try to avoid using too many definitions of new commands (\def).

1. The conventions of mathematical journals should be observed. The style of references should be as in the papers published in the current issue. The Editorial Board considers paper written preferable in English. The papers written in other languages (French, German, and Ukrainian) can be considered in exceptional cases by a special decision of the Editorial Board. In the section Chronicles, accepted languages are English and Ukrainian. 
2. In the case of joint authorship, a letter should accompany the manuscript stating which author will assume responsibility for correspondence and proofreading.
3. Since 1999, the section “Research Announcements” was introduced. Besides the text (up to 5 journal pages), the authors should submit an expanded version containing complete proofs of all results.
4. The papers should be typed in LATEX using the style and maket files of the journal ”Matematychni Studii”. The editorial board considers only the papers which are submitted by online submission system on the web-site http://matstud.org.ua. LaTeX- and pdf-files of the article must be submitted simultaneously.

If the manuscript does not satisfy the rules of journals, the editorial board can reject the paper.
